Graduate Students

We currently have open positions for M.Sc./Ph.D. students interested in the following areas: organic/inorganic synthesis, crystallization, purification, spectroscopy, materials characterization, and various X-ray diffraction characterization methods. Group members also have the opportunity to be involved in the design, fabrication, and testing of new XRD-based research tools and in-situ devices by working closely with our industry partner, PROTO Mfg. Students interested in pursuing a M.Sc. or Ph.D. at the University of Windsor should contact Dr. Vukotic by e-mail at nvukotic@uwindsor.ca
Postdoctoral Researchers
We currently have funding for one post-doctoral fellow (PDF) positions: Postdoctoral fellows holding external funding are always welcome to apply. Please note that due to the volume of applications that are received, only qualified applicants will be contacted.

Industrial PDF Position(s):

PDF: Crystallographic Software Development
Applications are invited for one Mitacs industrial postdoctoral position available in crystallographic software development. The position requires knowledge of crystallography and programming (python, C+). Experience in UI design and code versioning tools, such as Git would also be an asset. The PDF would work closely with the software development team at PROTO. Applicants should contact Dr. Vukotic by e-mail (nvukotic@uwindsor.ca) with a statement of interest and curriculum vitae including the contact information for 2-3 references. This position requires a formal application to Mitacs that will be completed with the help of the applicant and is supported by our industry sponsor, PROTO Mfg.

Industrial Research Partner

This multidisciplinary research program could not be undertaken without a diverse team of material scientists, chemists, physicists, and engineers. This is accomplished by working closely with our industrial sponsor, PROTO Mfg.
